 8 Eggs
 1 cup Sugar + 1 tbsp sugar to caramelise

Caramel pudding is a dessert that everyone loves irrespective of their age and it is one thing that can be made in a jiffy. Though there are a variety of pudding powders available in the market, here we will be making the pudding with milk, eggs, and sugar. So if you have these items at home, grab them and make this yummy pudding. You will surely love it.

The first step to make the pudding is to boil the milk with sugar. Then let it cool. In the meantime, take the eggs in a deep bowl and beat them till fluffy. Now you have to add the beaten eggs into the milk sugar mixture. Ensure that this mixture is not hot when you add the eggs. Blend well. Now add the vanilla essence as well to this and blend well.

The next step is to caramelize the sugar. For this, heat the baking pan in which you want to make the pudding. Add 1 tbsp of sugar into this pan, preferably at the center and let it be brown in colour. Make sure you don't burn it to much. Let it cool. Then add the milk-egg mixture into this pan.

Now, bake this in a preheated oven at 230 degree C for almost 45 - 50 minutes. Do check if it is done. If you feel, that your pudding needs to be baked a bit more, do not hesitate and keep it for another 5 to 10 minutes. Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool. Then refrigerate it for at least 1 to 2 hours. Then flip it upside down to a flat pan and cut into desired shapes. Serve the yummy caramel pudding chilled.
