Ingredients
For the Dough
 2 cups Whole wheat flour
 Salt as required
 ½ tsp Sugar
 Luke warm water required to make a soft dough
For the Stuffing
 1 cup Paneer (Crumbled)
 ½ cup Cheese (Grated)
 1 Onion (Finely Chopped)
 2 Green Chilies (Finely Chopped)
 3 tbsp Coriander leaves (Finely Chopped)
 Salt as required

Roti or chapati is a staple food for Indian families, be it north Indian or south Indian. How about a stuffed roti? Paneer and cheese together make a perfect combination. Here is a recipe to make Cheesy Paneer Roti. I am sure kids will love it.

The first step is to make the dough. For this, mix the ingredients of the dough well to make a soft dough. Keep it aside for at least half an hour. The more rest time results in soft rotis. You can read our article on Quick tips to make soft roti for some additional tips.

Now for the stuffing. Crumble the paneer well. To this add, the finely chopped onions, green chilies, coriander leaves and mix well. Now add the grated cheese. You can use the cheese of your choice. It can be processed cheese, mozzarella or Cheddar. It can be a mix of these cheese as well. It depends on your choice.

Here, I have used a mixture of processed cheese and mozzarella. Make sure you mix the cheese with paneer mixture well. If you want the roti to be a bit spicier, you can increase the number of green chilies as well.

Now divide the dough into 10 equal portions. Roll one portion, to make a small roti. Put a spoonful of the stuffing at the center and fold in such a way that the filling is fully covered with the dough. Similarly, make stuffed doughs. Rest them for another 15 minutes.

Finally, roll the stuffed doughs into flat rotis. To cook the roti, you have to heat a tawa and put the roti on it. Flip sides and cook till done. If required, you can brush the roti with oil or ghee. Yummy Cheesy Paneer roti is ready. Serve it hot with raita or even sweet pickle.
