03 Feb Prawns Masala
Do you like prawns (shrimp)? I am definite most of you do. Now, there are a variety of ways you can prepare it in. I have given here a very easy recipe for a delicious Prawns Masala.
Make sure to clean and devein the prawns properly.
To start with the preparation, marinate the prawns with ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
Then, blend the tomatoes in a mixer. After that, add this tomato paste to the marinated prawns. Next, add 1 tsp coconut oil and 1 sprig of curry leaves. After that, add 2 tbsp of water and then cook the prawns with the masala.
Now, heat rest of the oil in a pan. Then, sauté the onions and curry leaves in it. When the onions become golden in colour, you can add the cooked prawns. Then, keep it on gas till the water reduces and let it fry for sometime.
Finally, add rest of the curry leaves and 1 tsp coconut oil. Now, mix it well and take it out from the fire. This yummy curry can be served with even ghee rice or Kuska. But, in my opinion the best accompaniment for this is Chapati.
