Ingredients
 1 cup Rava
 ½ cup Curd
 125 ml Water
 1 tbsp Oil
 1 tbsp Ghee
 ½ tsp Mustard
 ¾ tbsp Bengal gram dal
 ½ tsp Ginger grated
 1 tsp Curry leaves (minced)
 ½ tbsp Coriander leaves (minced)
 1 pinch Asafoetida
 1 carrot grated (small)
 8 Cashew
 1 tsp ENO salt
 A red chilli (dry)

Steamed idlis are a healthy breakfast option. Here is another variation of idli - Rava idly.

To make the rava idli, first, heat oil and ghee together. Then add mustard seeds to it. When it begins to crackle add dried red chili, Bengal gram dal, and cashew. Saute this and when it becomes slightly golden, add ginger, green chili, asafoetida powder, and curry leaves. Now, sauté for a while.

The next step is to add rava and sauté well for 5 minutes on medium flame. Then add chopped coriander leaves and carrot and saute well Now, transfer this mixture into a mixing bowl. Let it cool for some time. Later, add curd, salt, and water to this mixture. Mix well and keep the batter aside for ten minutes.

Finally, add one tsp Eno salt and mix the batter well. Now, immediately pour this batter into the oiled idli moulds. Then steam for 8-10 minutes. Now the hot and piping idlis are ready serve. You can serve the yummy rava idly with sambar and chutney
